Flying Car Accident Debris Injures Pedestrian l Seattle Car Accident Attorney

Posted on Dec 28, 2009
Four people were injured in Seattle car accident on Sunday, December 27th. A pedestrian waiting to cross the street at the intersection of Fremont Ave. N. and N. 39th Street was hit by flying debris from the car accident.  The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and lost consciousness briefly.

The driver at fault for causing the Seattle car accident ran from the scene on foot despite his passenger being injured.  The SUV hit also had two people injured in it.  Witnesses to the accident believe the driver who ran suffered a head injury.

Washington hit and run accidents can lead to serious problems for the innocent victims left behind.  When the negligent driver runs away the injury victims are left to pay their own medical bills and any other expense.  In case where there is some insurance available, often times when four people are injured in the same car accident there will not be enough insurance coverage to cover all of the injured people's medical bills and expenses.

That's why it's so important to carry uninsured motorist (UIM) coverage on your own car insurance.  When you suffer a terrible injury following a Washington car accident your insurance can step in to cover the expenses that the at-fault driver doesn't or can't.  We regularly tell our friends, family and clients to buy as much UIM insurance as possible, it's the most important car insurance you can buy to protect yourself from other drivers out there.
