Scott A. McDonald is a 1984 graduate of the University of Washington School of Law. Since that time he has practiced extensively in the area of personal injury with a history of great results.  In 1985 Scott was a founding partner in the law firm of Strauss & McDonald.  In February of 2000 Scott founded his own law firm, Scott McDonald and Associates PLLC. Mr. McDonald devotes a large part of his practice to representing people who are injured by others. He is licensed to practice and regularly handles cases in Washington. Scott believes the best way to help his clients is to know his clients and this is shown through his dedication to personal, high-quality service. 

Scott resides with his wife and three children in Kenmore, Washington. He enjoys family activities, especially dancing with his wife and sports such as golf and basketball. He is an active parent in all of his children’s softball and basketball teams.

Education:

Mr. McDonald obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington in 1981.  He was a three year letterman of the golf team while attending the University of Washington on a caddy scholarship from his home golf course Inglewood Golf Club. He obtained his law degree from the University of Washington School of Law in 1984.

Professional Honors & Activities:

• Mr. McDonald is an Eagle member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, an organization devoted to protecting individual rights and preserving the civil jury system in Washington.

• Mr. McDonald is a private arbitrator for civil cases in the King County Superior Court.

Mr. McDonald has been a member of the Washington State Bar Association since 1984. 

Community Activities:

Scott is active in the community.   He sits on the Board of Directors for the NYBA, and takes great pride in his duties for his local youth basketball league. Scott also serves on the Board of Directors for Families for Active Parks in Kenmore. Scott is active in supporting Inglemoor High School athletics.
