Car Crashes Into Mobile Home Killing 16 year-old in Lacey, WA

Posted on Dec 14, 2010
Just after Midnight on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 a 16 year-old Lacey, Washington teenager lost his life when a car crashed into the mobile home where he lived.  The car failed to see the road ending and crashed through a fence and into the mobile home where the teenager was sleeping.

Our prayer's go out to the teenager's family

A winter storm carrying high winds and rain may have contributed to this Lacey car accident.  The power was out at the time and the driver may not have seen the roadway ending at the intersection.  The driver of the car fled the fatal Washington car accident scene on foot.  Police say that the driver was also speeding at the time of the car wreck.

When a driver runs from the scene of a car accident that is a very bad sign for the person who is injured or in this case the family of the teen boy who was killed.  The car likely does not have any insurance to pay for funeral expenses and any other damages resulting to this family from such a tragic accident.  Making sure you have your home full insured can help ease the financial burden when tragedy like this strikes.

The family has a wrongful death legal claim it can make against the at fault driver.  If you know someone facing a situation like this its important to have them seek the guidance of a Washington wrongful death attorney.  The last thing the family wants to do is deals with all the legal issues, and a Washington wrongful death attorney can step in and help take some of the burden off the family while making sure to protect the family's legal rights.
