$85,000 Settlement for Neck Fusion Surgery - Full Policy Limits

Client was cut-off by a car turning in front of her resulting in a head-on collision in Renton, Washington.  The client suffered injury to her neck.  The client’s neck bones just below her skull were left so weak and displaced that if she suffered another blow to the head she could have been paralyzed.  Spine fusion surgery was required to repair her serious neck injury. 

Our client had over $42,000 in medical bills.  Fortunately after the surgery the client was able to make a full recovery.  We obtained the full limits of the at-fault driver’s insurance of $25,000.  We then made a claim under the client’s UIM car insurance, and obtained an additional $60,000 that was the full limits of her insurance policy. Our client received a total settlement of $85,000 and did not have to pay back any of the insurance companies that paid her medical bills.
