$145,000 Settlement for Low Back Disk Surgery

Client was a woman who had her low back injured when in a bad rear-end car accident.  She had to have surgery to repair one of the disks in her low back and it took her many months to recover. 

We contacted the insurance company after she asked us to represent her and we tried to settle the case without filing a lawsuit. The insurance company refused to settle the case and refused to make a fair settlement offer, even though they agreed that they were responsible. Their prior offer of $75,000 had been rejected and the case was set to go to trial in very conservative Clallam County.  One week before trial we were able to convince the insurance company to give our client fair compensation in the amount of $145,000.
