Max J. Meyers joined Scott McDonald and Associates PLLC in 2000.
He was an assocaite attorney with Strauss & McDonald from 1998 - 2000.
 
Mr. Meyers has devoted his legal career extensively to representing individuals against insurance companies in personal injury cases involving car accidents, motorcycle accidents, bicycle/pedestrian accidents and other injury causing accidents.  He is licensed to practice in Washington and has handled cases in Washington state courts and the federal court for Western Washington.

Max lives with his wife, Shelly, and English Bulldog Harvey, in Kirkland, Washington.  He spends much of his time in activities like pampering his wife, working in their garden, and taking Harvey for short yet invigorating walks.

Education:

Max J. Meyers is a 1998 graduate of the Seattle University School of Law.  He obtained his undergraduate degree from Washington State University in 1993.  Mr. Meyers counts himself as one of the lucky few who have had the honor of playing for the Washington State University football team as a walk on.

Professional Honors & Activities:

 Is a member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, an organization devoted to protecting individual rights and preserving the civil jury system in Washington.
• Is an arbitrator for civil cases in the King County Superior Court.
• Is a past chair of Washington State Bar Associations Character and Fitness Committee.
• Is a regular volunteer with the King County Bar Association at the Eastside Legal Clinic, which is a clinic that helps people obtain free legal advice in times of need. 
• He also volunteers for the KCBA’s Newcomer’s Project, which assists recent immigrants collect wages owed to them from employers whom have refused to pay the wages owed for work performed.

Community Activities:

Max is active in the community.  He is involved in the Pacific Northwest Football Official’s Association www.pnfoa.org and Greater Eastside Junior Football Assocaition www.gejfa.org.  He is an active football referee for these associations, and takes great pleasure from his referee duties for local high school and youth football leagues each football season.  He is also active in his church www.eastlakecc.com.
